The Washington Post just posted an article outlining a new standard for Olive Oil. Most people don’t really know what it means to be Extra Virgin. It is usually understood as the first cold press but this is not the only case. Now according to the Washington Post it is a new rating system means that the quality of the oil regardless of the press.There must be a form of clarity, how long it lasts, and the smell and texture. This Makes me excited. I love the new guarantee for olive oil and can’t wait to see how Extra Virgin Olive Oil Companies intend to adapt to the new System.
